This building is of particular architectural interest, as it is a characteristic example of the style of eclecticism in the 1920s-1930s. In this style, elements of Byzantine architecture are combined with those of popular classicism.

The main façade has been constructed with absolute symmetry against an imaginary vertical axis, while the use of double-arched openings on the first floor refers to ecclesiastical architecture. Today, it houses on the first floor the Keimiliarcheion (Museum of ecclesiastical relics) of the Bishopric of Polyani and Kilkis.
