Head of a terracotta figurine of Dionysus. Half of it is preserved, flaking surface. Mended by several fragments. The figure is in a frontal position with realistic facial features. The beard, with added round terracotta pieces, is mostly worn out. The hair is rendered by parallel oblique grooves. The god wears a vine branch wreath, with a rounded plastic decorative motif at its end. The wreath has been added to the head crosswise. There are grooves on the forehead, perhaps in an attempt to depict a wreath? A partially preserved conical protrusion at the rear of the head, with parallel grooves. Traces of burning. Reddish clay.
