Fragment of a terracotta bust
Byzantine Period
Fragment of a terracotta bust, missing the right part of the chest. The lower part is also apparently broken. The male (?) figure is rendered very schematically. Cavities are used for the facial features (eyes, mouth, ears) and only the nose is plastically rendered, although broken. Cavities are also used for the nipples. Flat back side. Brown clay.
