Ottoman Bathhouse of Seyh Seyyid effendi
The building is located in the market area of the city, at the junction of Thessalonikis and N. Panayiotou streets. The bathhouse has a rectangular plan and covers an area of about 94 m2. It was part of a charity complex, namely the tekke of Seyh Seyyid effendi, an officer of the religious order of the dervishes.
It was built at the end of the 18th century and is one of the few surviving monuments of Ottoman architecture in the city.
